About Us

As an Anglican Church we are a part of the Diocese of Auckland, the Anglican Church in Aotearoa/New Zealand and Polynesia, and the worldwide Communion of Anglican Churches.
At St Barnabas we value our life together as a people of Welcome, Worship and Community. We want to be a warm and friendly place for all, a place we can be at home and ourselves, acceptance and inclusion are important to us, this is welcome and hospitality.
As Christian community, worship is the core of our life, we gather each week to  worship God, but worship is more than Sunday church, it is the life we live and lead always.
Hopefully we show this in our love towards our families, one another, our community, and our world.
We want this to form the Christian community we aim to be, a community of love and acceptance,  friendship and care, inclusion and hospitality. These things we are committed to.
You are very welcome to join with us.
We meet together at 8:00am and 9:30am each Sunday morning.
